General none required but the following are desirable;

• Degrees in Finance,
• Business
• Accounting
• Economics
• Mathematics or law make the best preparation for a career as an analyst.
  
  NB: some coursework in statistics and economics is required, and classes in taxes, estate planning, risk management and investing are highly desired.
  A master's degree in business administration (MBA) is even more attractive to a potential employer.
